Getting Help

In 2024, the Washington State Legislature approved HB 2112 to help address the opioid crisis in the state of Washington. HB 2112 requires higher education institutions to provide opioid and fentanyl education and awareness information to all students, parents, and legal guardians. To help prevent overdoses, higher education institutions are also required to make Naloxone (Narcan®) and fentanyl test strips available to students free of charge.

The Department of Mathematics offers a learning center to students that fosters collaborative, exploration, and skill-building. Tutoring is available as well as space for student groups to work collaboratively on math, engineering, chemistry, and physics.
