Bigfoot Student Email
All students receive a Microsoft Office 365 account using the information provided on their admissions application. This account includes your official student email address.
Email format:
FirstName + LastInitial + last 4 digits of ctcLink ID
Example: JaneD6789@bigfoot.spokane.edu
Notes:
- Hyphens and spaces are removed from first names (e.g., Rae‑Ann → RaeAnn, Mary Beth → MaryBeth).
- Your email is created using the name you provided during the application process.
Accessing Email & Office 365
You can access Office 365:
- From the Student Tools menu on the college website, or
- Directly at office.com
Office 365 includes Outlook (email), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft Teams, and other academic tools.
Password Information
Your initial password is sent to the personal email you provided when applying. You will be required to reset your password at first login.

Why Your Student Email Matters
Your Bigfoot email is used to:
- Log into campus computers
- Access Office 365 apps
- Connect to campus Wi‑Fi (CCSNET)
- Use the STA mobile bus pass, and for purchasing parking passes.
- Purchase course materials through the online bookstore
Important: Regular student communications are sent to your Bigfoot email, so we recommend checking it often.
ctcLink
The ctcLink website is a versatile tool for students, offering a range of essential services. Students can use it to register for classes, access student records, update personal information, and more. Additionally, the ctcLink ID and password are required to log in to Canvas, the eLearning platform used by most instructors.

If you forget your ctcLink password or need to unlock your account, you can reset it using the ctcLink self‑service tools. Resetting your password restores access to ctcLink and any connected systems that use your ctcLink ID, including Canvas.
