SPOKANE COMMUNITY COLLEGE'S (SCC) AUTOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT REPAIR SERVICES Available to students, faculty and staff only. Repairs generally cost nothing, except the price of parts. If there is disposal of liquids, they charge 15 percent of the cost of the new fluids added. (So, if they do an oil change for $15 they would pay $2.25 for disposal.) To request a service repair, you must visit the automotive department secretary in Bldg. 18. There, you complete a waiver and personal information form. This is given to the appropriate instructor, and if the instructor has space for a new project, he or she calls the applicant with an appointment. The primary purpose of any project is for student learning. The car should be 10 years old or newer and must meet the instructor's curriculum. (Repairs may be scheduled out a ways)
