As a proud SFCC graduate, Gigi has also earned a bachelor’s in psychology from Eastern Washington University and a master’s in communication studies with a focus in interpersonal communication from University of Texas Austin. Gigi is happy to serve as the Curriculum Advisor and point of contact for students enrolled in programs within the Business Pathway.

Cynthia Vigil has worked in student affairs for over 20 years. She is an experienced counselor whose scope of practice ranges advising students from high School to graduate school. She has been a department chair, dean of student support services, and currently works with students enrolled in the bachelors’ programs at SFCC.

Cynthia is a first-generation college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and master’s degree in developmental psychology from Eastern Washington University. She is involved in her local community and actively seeks opportunities to create partnerships to support students. She believes that higher education has a responsibility to individuals, communities, and society, therefore; her interactions with students are meant to further lifetime experiences that enrich their lives and the lives of those around them.
