SFCC Public Planetarium Presentations

Bring your curiosity, let us do the rest! Visit the starry night in our dome and explore the cosmos. Let’s discover the universe together!

Buying Tickets

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for CCS students with valid ID and children ages 3-18. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different show time/date. The Planetarium is in Building 28, Room 142.

These one-hour presentations include both a night sky discussion along with a full dome feature film. While presentations are appropriate for all ages, we have special Saturday presentations featuring Earth, Moon & Sun for our younger audiences.

When you purchase your tickets for any presentation, you will see the special option for these Saturday events.

Webb's mid-infrared view of galaxy M51. A large spiral galaxy takes up the entirety of the image. The core is mostly bright white, but there are also swirling, detailed structures that resemble water circling a drain. There is white and pale blue light that emanates from stars and dust at the core’s center, but it is tightly limited to the core. The detailed rings feature bands of deep orange and cloudy gray, which are interspersed by darker empty regions throughout.
