Are you a current high school student who wants to earn college credit, now? You’ve come to the right place. Here you will find information on our Running Start programs, Gateway to College and underage and special admissions requirements.

Starting at SFCC From High School

Are you researching your college options and plan to move straight to SFCC after you receive your diploma? Get all the information you need in our Become a Student section. There, you can explore areas of study under What to Study, start planning your aid in How to Pay for College and get ready to apply.

Getting Ready for College

You must meet the general admissions requirements in order to enroll at SFCC. If you need to complete your high school degree, get your GED or take basic skills courses, visit I Need Basic Education.

College Prep courses also are available at SFCC and Spokane Community College (SCC). We even have a convenient online class.

Running Start
Are you a junior or senior high school student interested in advanced courses? With Running Start, you earn high school and college credit at the same time.

Gateway to College
Students in the Gateway to College program earn their high school diploma and college credits at the same time. If you're between the ages of 16 and 20, and left high school or are struggling to finish school, we can help.

International High School
We offer a High School Completion (HSC) program for qualified international high school students who want to get a head start on their college education. You can save time and money by completing two programs at once. Students in this program can earn a Washington state high school diploma and associate degree at the same time.
