Take a look at sƛ̓x̣etkʷ, SFCC's brand new Visual and Applied Arts Building! This state of the art acedemic building is equipped with everything students will need for drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, jewelry making and much more! Not only does sƛ̓x̣etkʷ boast some of the best views on campus which overlook the Spokane river and centennial trail, but the building itself was built with artistic intent in it's foundation. Check out the beautiful warped glass meant to mimic the Spokane river on the second level, or the gallery displays on the first level.

With our new Artist in Residency program, artists from within SFCC and the broader community will be able to display their art to help foster a cross-cultural dialogue on campus.

Additionally, when students need a a brake or safe space to land they can find a nice place to unwind at one of the 4 student 'nest' areas where they can study, have a snack, or take a breather! Whether art is a part of your pathway or just taking one art class, building 32 is where SFCC students can get in touch with their creative side.
