Building 16, Human Services Building 16, Human Services


The Human Services Department offers the following two-year professional degrees:

Addiction Studies, Gerontology Paraprofessional, Social Services Paraprofessional, Early Childhood Education, Education and Education Paraprofessional, Library and Information Services, and the Interpreter Training Program (American Sign Language).

Interior Design is also located in Building 16. Students who complete the two-year program can work in the residential field. Those who go on to complete the final years of study at WSU can work in the commercial field after their fourth year.

The Campus Security Office is in Building 16. Security is on campus 24/7 and offers safety escorts, jump starts and unlocks for registered vehicles. They have four Emergency Blue phones on campus. Security can be reached any time at 509-533-3333.

The view above is of the east side of the building. Handicapped parking is nearby in area P3 and in the drive through area coming from Elliot drive on the northwest side of the building.
