Financial Aid Application Checklist

  • Create your FSA ID, if you do not already have one.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The college code for SFCC is 009544.

  • If you are not currently enrolled, apply for or reactivate your admission to SFCC.

  • You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) either by mail or email from FAFSA.

  • SFCC will send you an email or letter requesting all SFCC required documentation. There is always additional documentation required.

  • SFCC will send you an award letter informing you of your eligibility for aid.

CCS Foundation Scholarships

A scholarship from the CCS Foundation can help reduce the cost of your education. Every year, the Foundation provides over 300 major scholarships for tuition and books, as well as hundreds of smaller awards to help with testing costs, program fees and emergency needs.
