We all know that the Fourth of July is the day that we celebrate the Declaration of our Independence, but did you know that on September 17th we celebrate the signing of the Constitution?
In 2004, Senator Robert Byrd passed an amendment renaming the holiday “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day,” which requires public schools and institutions to provide information on the history of the country’s Constitution.
