The purposes of the French Club are:

1. To build a strong and thriving French Club at Spokane Falls Community College
2. To promote and uphold the French culture and traditions
3. To lead and to help students at Spokane Falls Community College learn the French language
4. To participate in activities within the surrounding communities that are related to the French roots and heritage

A sampling of events we have done and plan to continue:

• The Scent of Green Papaya, a French movie in Vietnamese with English subtitles.
• Ice Skating Party at Eagles Ice Arena, a joint effort with the German Klub and the International Club.
• Every Thursday at 12:00 PM we have the French Book Club.
• The annual International Week Celebration. We sponsored Bili The Mime show and workshop, and are fully involved in planning and organizing this event with other clubs.
