Skilled Trades Program (STP)

Ready for a career in construction?

Interested in working in a skilled trade? The first step to many well-paying careers is an apprenticeship program. STP gives you the basic skills and training, such as safety training and first aid, so you can succeed as an apprentice, regardless of the trade you choose.

Learn from the experts and get insider knowledge about the different career paths so you can choose which is best for you.
 

Training Includes:

  • Applied Math

  • ​Construction Basics 

  • Financial Literacy

  • First Aid

  • Flagging

  • OSHA 10 Construction Safety

  • Scaffolding Introduction

  • Understanding Apprenticeships

Your $25 Fee Includes:

  • Certificate and Lab Fees

  • Testing Fees

  • Textbooks

  • Tuition

Program Details:

  • ​STP is an 11-week course.

  • Class times: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • STP is offered at the Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training Center, 2110 N. Fancher Way, Spokane Valley, WA 99212
