Pre-Pharmacy

SFCC partners with WSU to offer multiple degrees leading to careers in pharmacy, medicine, research, and medical related fields.

AS-T1 Associate in Science

If you are a detail-oriented person, like science and want a career working with people, then a future as a pharmacist or pharmacist researcher could be an excellent choice for you.

In this program, you’ll lay the groundwork for a pharmacy degree with courses in biology and chemistry. You’ll also complete general education requirements in areas such as communication, social sciences, humanities, and math. This pre-pharmacy program prepares you to transfer to a four-year college or university at a junior standing.

Whether you want to work in a community or hospital pharmacy, the manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical sales, research, or get a solid jump on M-CAT prep, the program will point you toward a variety of career opportunities in pharmacy.  This AS-T1 degree will prepare you for entry into Washington State University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program or any other pharmacy or pharmaceutical development program you choose.
