Spokane Falls Community College offers an Associates of Applied Science degree in Information Technology. Are you a technology buff? Are you always looking at the latest, greatest products to hit the market? Do you enjoy learning and problem solving? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might make a great information technology professional.
Our Associates in Applied Science degree is designed for students interested in areas such as systems security analysis, countermeasures, cloud-based computing and systems, and platforms and network technologies.
Throughout your academic journey, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in local cyber competitions, engage in the Public Infrastructure Security Cyber Education Systems (PISCES), and apply for internships with regional industry partners.
SFCC’s Cybersecurity is a Center of Academic Excellence. To support our students through their academic journey and foster relationships with industry partners, we have a Cyber Center. Please see this page to learn more about our Cyber Center.
New students can begin this course of study in either the Fall or Winter quarter. Our winter quarter start is an online-only start. All classes are a mixture of theoretical perspectives and hands-on experience with the latest technology.
SFCC also offers a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in cybersecurity, a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in information technology with an emphasis in cybersecurity.
After applying for admission to SFCC, the next step for admission into the BAS program is to complete the BAS application. Please see the link below for the application and reach to our STEM Pathways Specialist if you have questions.
