Social Work

Social work is a profession devoted to helping people and communities enhance their well-being and social functioning within their social environments.
In this program, you’ll learn skills and knowledge in order to help you make change at the micro and macro levels of society to improve social issues. This program is intended to prepare you to move on to a degree and career in a wide variety of fields. Social workers practice in a wide variety of settings including, but not limited to administration/supervision, aging, substance abuse, child welfare, health, mental health, education, criminal justice, and private practice.
