If you have previous experience in an office and would like to update your skills, want to couple technology skills with experience in a different field, or want to enter the field of business technology, this program is for you!

In this program, you’ll learn the latest software skills in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook while learning skills in the broader areas of business such as: desktop publishing, social media, business communications, and basic Internet programming. Students will gain hands-on experience valuable to any employer by obtaining a Business and Technology Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree or a certificate that can be completed in as little as three quarters.

1. Effectively use Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook for common business applications.
2. Design business documents applying a variety of desktop publishing strategies.
3. Design usable web pages and websites.
4. Use and apply a variety  of management  and bookkeeping principles.
5. Apply basic business communication skills in a variety of situations both orally and written.
6. Effectively use digital media in business.
