If you are an analytical thinker, enjoy crunching numbers and like to work with people, a career in accounting may be for you.
This pre-major program prepares you to transfer to a four-year college to earn a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or another business-related field. You’ll take beginning accounting courses and complete the first two years of general requirements for a four-year degree.
Whether you want to help small businesses with their taxes or work in the accounting department at a large corporation, a degree in this field will position you for a broad range of career opportunities in the accounting field.

Jackie Franklin teaches Principles of Accounting, Payroll and Business Taxes, QuickBooks, Excel for Accountants and Fundamentals of Bookkeeping. She worked in public accounting and private industry prior to her teaching career.
