In this program, you’ll study the basic principles of business management and learn about sales, marketing, leadership, human resources and social media. Depending on your interests and career goals, you’ll choose an area of emphasis in marketing, small business management, social media marketing, or general business.
Whether you want to work in retail or in a business office, this program will provide the training to potentially become a middle manager or junior executive in a variety of professional settings.
Business Management credits can be earned toward a certificate in Business Management, or toward a degree. SFCC offers two Business Management degree options. The Associate in Applied Science - Business Management option is for students who do not plan to attend a four-year school. The Associate in Business Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Related Program option is for students who would like to transfer to a four-year school and complete a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
