The Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation has received a generous $500,000 donation for student scholarships from the Krumble Foundation, a Spokane charitable organization.
The gift will provide $4,000 scholarships to more than 100 students over the next five years. The CCS Foundation will begin taking applications from students in August to award scholarships for fall quarter.

The Community Colleges of Spokane ended an unusually challenging academic year with 2,150 students earning degrees and certificates. CCS had hoped to honor all class of 2020 graduates in person at the Spokane Arena in August but has cancelled the event because Spokane remains in Phase 2 of the covid-19 re-opening.
