Students will have the option to select their preference to live in on-campus or off-campus housing. You will select your preference in the secondary application with Sogang University.

On-campus housing: You will live with a roommate in an international on-campus dormitory. The dormitory has its own cafeteria, fitness center, laundry, chapel, and lounge for public use. Each room has beds, desks, chairs, wardrobes, shoes cabinets, internet cables, restrooms, and shower rooms. There are 12 floors with an elevator.

Off-campus housing: There are two off-campus dormitories. Both are approximately 20-minutes away by public transportation. Students will be provided with a pre-loaded transit card. There are options for private and shared bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, or shared bathrooms. Off-campus housing is cheaper than off-campus housing.

Note: On-campus housing is filling up. It is recommended that you apply early. If on-campus housing fills up, then you will no longer be able to select this option in the application system.

Excursions & Activities

You will have many opportunities to visit local cultural and historical sites of significance in Seoul, bi-weekly “Buddy Activities” with local Korean students, and the option to participate in bi-weekly start-up club and E-Sports club activities.

Sogang offers three optional field trips on Fridays. The 2026 field trip destinations include the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), Gangwon, and Gyeongju. You can sign up for these additional field trips in the secondary application with Sogang University. Outside of these activities, you will have free time in the evenings and weekends to explore the city and region independently.

Tip: Previous WCCCSA students enjoyed the field trips and recommend you opt-in
