Are you among the highly motivated students who desire the challenge and enthusiasm of intelligent discussion, debate, exploration and collaboration? Our Honors program will challenge you to think broadly, creatively, and independently. Receiving the Honors designation will enhance your preparedness to meet future challenges and opportunities, regardless of your academic or career path. Read more about program outcomes below.

Earning the Honors designation on your transcript makes you more visible to top universities as well as offers further academic preparedness for the next educational level in your journey.

The Honors program at SFCC is ideally suited for students seeking a general Associate of Arts (AA) degree in preparation for transfer to a four-year university. Honors courses are available to all SFCC students. If you are not in the Honors Program you may petition to enroll in an honors course.

Students can earn the Honors designation on their transcript upon completion of the Honors Designation Requirements listed below.
