SEER Learning Community for GED/HS+ Students
The SEER (Supported Education and Employment Enhancing Rehabilitation) Learning Community may be just the spot for you to pursue the completion of your high school credential or GED.
By working with one of the Adult Basic Education (ABE) counselors, you will sign up for
- the high school or GED classes you need
- at least one SEER class (click on the list found under “current class schedule” on this page)
You will meet with the SEER faculty member (a licensed mental health counselor) at the beginning, middle and end of the quarter. These meetings will ensure that you are gaining the academic and mental health skills necessary for success.
Your classes will take place in a learning lab at the Lodge (3305 W. Whistalks Way) where you will login to your classes remotely with the help of a caring lab monitor.
Please bring your own laptop and headphones (with microphone) to the learning lab or borrow one from our library until you get your own.
If this sounds like the right place for you:
Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org, 509-279-6033 and say that you are interested in joining the SEER Learning Community!
We look forward to seeing you in the lab!
