LaDonna Boyd, Softball 1986-87, 1987-88

LaDonna BoydDonna Boyd, an outstanding softball player at CCS from 1986-1988 for Head Coach Jerry Skaife. Donna was an excellent softball pitcher who led Spokane to the 1987-88 NWAACC title with her pitching performances. Recruited from Inchelium (Washington) HS by Coach Skaife who recognized her potential to become one of the best softball pitchers ever at CCS and in the NWAACC.  She was Spokane’s MVP in 1988 for her pitching performance while helping Spokane win the NWAACC Softball Championship. An All Region and All Conference selection with a 22-2 pitching record with a 0.35 ERA in 1988, Donna had an 0.65 ERA and 38-8 record in her two-year career at CCS. Donna continued her softball career at Eastern Washington University before she took a position with a Native American leadership group.
