Parking Services at SFCC

All campus parking is paid parking, either by meters or paid virtual permits. The Community Colleges of Spokane no longer require a plastic hang tag permit. A virtual permit is obtained by registering your vehicle license plate in the CCS parking management system and paying an appropriate fee. Individuals may purchase a day, month, quarter, or annual (available for purchase only July 1 through December 31) virtual permit. Day parking is also available by parking at and paying a parking meter.

There are a limited number of short-term visitor parking spaces. A visitor is any person, excluding students, employees, vendors and invited guests who lawfully visit the campus for purposes, which are in keeping with the colleges' role as institutions of higher learning in the state of  Washington.

Parking regulations are enforced Monday-Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Services We Provide

The SFCC Parking Services Office provides - but is not limited to - the following services:

  • Unlocking and jumpstarting vehicles on campus

  • Enforcement of campus parking rules

  • Visitor passes/information

Electric Car Charging Stations

In partnership with Avista Utilities, SFCC will have two car charging stations available on campus beginning in May 2018. There will be one station located in parking lot P8 (west side of Building 7) and one station located in parking lot P1 (south side of Building 18).

State-issued Disability Placards and Disabled Parking License Plates

Individuals issued a state disabled placard or state issued disabled parking license plates must also have a Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) virtual parking permit to park on a CCS Campus (WAC 132Q-20-040). CCS offers enhanced convenience parking options for people issued a state disabled placard/disabled parking license plates. With a Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) virtual parking permit (or paid parking meter if parked at a parking meter) and a disabled placard/disabled parking license plate, along with the numerous designated disabled parking spaces throughout our campuses, you can park in any designated student, faculty or visitor parking most convenient to you.
