Music Concerts

Our quarterly music concerts are open to the community. Enjoy an enchanting evening listening to performances by the Community Concert Band, Community Symphony Orchestra, “Big Band” Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, World Drumming, and/or Choral Music.

2023-24 Concerts

All concerts take place in in the music building auditorium. Concerts begin at 7 p.m.; box office opens at 6:30 p.m.

  • December 4 - Symphony Orchestra
  • December 5 - Choral Music

Winter Concerts

Interested in participating in one of our music groups?

Whether you are an SFCC student or a member of the community, you can participate in our music ensembles. We offer options both for credit and non-credit in Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Community Choir, World Drumming, and Private Music Lessons.

Music Building

The Music Building (Bldg. 15) houses a 589-seat auditorium that hosts recitals and concerts by SFCC music groups and visiting artists.

In addition to the Auditorium, the Music Building features:

  • Recording Studio: A 16-track recording studio where students can record, engineer and produce their own music projects.

  • Yamaha Clavinova Digital Keyboard Lab: Equipped with 20 full-size action-weighted keyboards with multi-voice selectors and a sound-proof headset/microphone for optimal interaction in a group setting.

  • Music Midi-Lab: This lab features up-to-date music composition software as well as music writing programs.
